Hotel booking
A number of rooms in different categories of hotels have been booked at attractive rates. All hotels are located near the city centre as this is more convenient for transport, shopping, sightseeing and dining. There will be no organised shuttle service as public transportation in Amsterdam is easy and the Amsterdam RAI easily accessible by train, bus and tram.
To secure accommodation of your choice, you should register as early as possible.
Prices quoted are per room per night, city tax and VAT (Value Added Tax). All hotel reservations, especially after 10 July 2010, will be subject to availability.

Please indicate your two hotel preferences on your form to enable booking at your second choice hotel in case the first choice hotel is no longer available.
Participants are requested to pay their personal expenses directly to the hotel when checking out. Please note that all room reservations will be made on a ”first come, first served” basis and all reservations will be subject to availability.

Guarantee Policy:
Your valid credit card details are required to guarantee the reservation. Your credit card will be used for guarantee; in case of cancellation or no show it will be charged. For this reason, your credit card will be authorized for the full stay prior to your arrival which has consequences for your card limit. If authorization fails your reservation is not guaranteed and you will be informed accordingly. The final hotel bill will be settled in the hotel during your stay.
Cancellation Policy:
Notification of cancellations should always be made to the Amsterdam RAI Hotel & Travel Service directly and can only be accepted in writing or online. All cancellations will be charged an administrative fee of EUR 15. Cancellations should be received before 16:00 hrs (CET) 2 days prior to arrival. Cancellations for reservations with arrival on Monday and Tuesday should be received by Friday before 16:00 hrs (CET). For cancellations and no-shows within that period the hotel is entitled to charge one room night fee. In case of no-show your room will be cancelled 12 noon the following day.
Changes Policy:
Notification of cancellations and changes should always be made to the Hotel & Travel Service directly and can only be accepted in writing or online. Changes on reservations with arrival in the weekend or on Monday can only be processed if received before Friday 16:00 hrs (CET).If you do not check-in on the above mentioned arrival date, without written notification, the hotel is entitled to charge the first night's room rate. When checking out before the confirmed departure date, the hotel is entitled to make an additional charge.
Please note a different cancellation policy for some hotels:
Contrary to the conditions mentioned above, cancellations and no shows will be charged the entire stay when cancelled within the period described in the Cancellation Policy. For reservations of more than 10 rooms, the conditions in the agreement remain applicable.
All other conditions are in conformity with the Dutch Uniform Conditions of the Hotel Industry (UVH)
