ESVS Twitter events in January – Guidelines and Academy

As we continue to connect virtually, Twitter seemed like a good a place as any to get together this month.

We have two intiatives running in January and you can get involved.  They’re free so what are you waiting for?

Venous Thrombosis Guidelines Twitter event

We recently published the first ever ESVS Clinical Guidelines on the Management of Venous Thrombosis, thanks to the hard work and commitment of the Writing Committee and the reviewers.

Now is your chance to discuss the guidelines, the findings and recommendations and ask any questions you may have.

The co-chair of the Writing Committee Mr. Manj Gohel and his colleague Mr. Aminder Singh will be responding to your comments and questions in a LIVE TWITTER Q&A SESSION

Follow @ESVSMembership on Twitter and don’t miss out.

Connect on Monday 18th January at 19:00 (CET) to be part of the discussion.

International Day of Education events

Did you know that the 24th Jan is International Day of Education!

You can participate in two ways:

1.

Join the Academy Committee as they take over Twitter to talk about all things education at ESVS. Lots to learn, and find out about our 2021 plans. Join us live on TwitterThursday 21st Jan @ 18:00 CET

2.

Share your own stories of your education journey and ESVS will Tweet them!  Peharps there is a teacher/mentor/colleague/technique that has inspired you during your training career so far.  All members welcome to contribute, trainees and experienced surgeons alike.  We will schedule these messages as Tweets and have them set to be published at regular intervals throughout the day on January 24th.

Your messages can be sent to natalie@esvs.org any time before the 20thof January.
