FEBVS Exam Preparation (Aortic)

The overarching objective of the FEBVS exam prep course on the ESVS Pathways Project is to prepare candidates for some of the different parts of the FEBVS examination. This part of the course prepares candidates for the viva voce section of the examination. On completion of this section of the course, as well as well as assimilating knowledge of aortic and mesenteric conditions, candidates will have a high level of understanding of how to approach answering clinical oral exam questions in an ordered, organised and logical way.

Join Mr. David Lewis and his expert colleagues online for small group viva voce exam practice, covering FEBVS curriculum topics on aortic and mesenteric disease, pathology, investigation and treatment.

Each participant will be asked to manage a clinical scenario for 10 minutes under simulated exam conditions whilst the other members of the group observe.

Course fees : 25€ ESVS Members, 30€ Non-members

Cancellation policy:
For cancellations received more than 5 days before the event, a refund will be given less an administration fee of 10 EUR.
For cancellations received less than 5 days before the event, no refund is possible.

Proficiency level: The course is designed for vascular surgeons or vascular surgeons in training who plan to sit the FEBVS exam.  Sound knowledge of the FEBVS curriculum related to venous disease is expected.

Participants are aware that the online session will be recorded and may be used by the ESVS on our website and e-library.
