Open surgery toolkit – from conduits to sutures and needles
Open vascular surgery is traditional way of solving vascular problems and no matter to advanced improvements of endovascular techniques it is still final solution for most vascular patients. For performing vascular open procedures, it is necessary to be familiar with materials, instruments and conduits (implants) that might be used.
This course is designed to present basic information about conduits, instruments and sutures that may be needed during open surgery to audience. Also Suture Techniques and anastomotic basic techniques will be demonstrated and discussed. Convenors will present not only information but also application rules and their personal experience.

For cancellations received more than 5 days before the event, a refund will be given less an administration fee of 10 EUR.
For cancellations received less than 5 days before the event, no refund is possible.
Proficiency level: The course is designed for vascular surgeons, vascular surgeons in training. Basic knowledge of vascular tools and techniques will be provided.
Participants are aware that the online session will be recorded and may be used by the ESVS on our website and e-library.
