Join us for an online virtual training session taking you through the basic endovascular kit required for endovascular intervention. “From access needle to stent” we will be looking in detail at the equipment used in everyday practice: wires / catheters / stents / balloons. A chance to familiarise yourself with the often confusing world of endovascular kit; the fundamental building blocks of safe endovascular practice.
The fundamentals of safe endovascular intervention include safe arterial access/navigation and closure. We will take an in-depth look at everything from the arterial access needle through to stents and everything in between. An opportunity to bring some clarity to the often-confusing equipment used in everyday endovascular intervention.
By attending this course we expect candidates to gain a firm knowledge of the kit required for basic endovascular procedures. Understanding the principles of seldinger arterial access technique and safe sheath placement, guidewire properties, catheter choice, angioplasty balloon and stenting properties.
Level of Proficiency:
Early stage vascular/interventional trainees/novice practitioners

For cancellations received more than 5 days before the event, a refund will be given less an administration fee of 10 EUR.
For cancellations received less than 5 days before the event, no refund is possible.
Participants are aware that the online session will be recorded and may be used by the ESVS on our website and e-library.
